Call for Presenters
The CFP for CactusCon 13 is NOW OPEN! Please follow the advice on Sessionize to increase your likelihood of acceptance.
Talks
Presentations can be 20 or 50 minutes long, with 10 minutes of Q&A afterwards.
We are looking for talks on breaking, building, defending, connected systems, wireless technologies, and other relevant security topics. We also have a CFP track specifically for Career Village. Research on AI hallucination or other failure modes that threaten security (including the spread of disinformation) is of particular interest this year.
Vendor pitches will not be accepted.
Workshops
Workshops offer hands-on training on a specific topic. Prior workshops have included lock picking, hardware hacking, Android app security auditing, cheating to win video games, and network forensics. Workshops can be 2 hours or 4 hours long.
CISO Track
The CISO track of Cactus Con takes a unique approach to education and knowledge sharing, centered around a science fair style workshop model. Each workshop will be a highly interactive, 45-minute interactive session, including games and exercises when possible. This day-long track is intended to be an experience curated by CISOs, to help educate, develop, and cultivate the next generation of CISOs. Are you up to the challenge? If so, submit to lead one of our CISO-track workshops!
